Gadebridge is best known for the park, which is one of the biggest in Hemel and has a splash park that's heaving in summer. The residential area is mostly New Town housing from the 1950s and 60s, including a large council estate component. The neighbourhood sits in the Gade valley and has a slightly cut-off feel from the rest of town. It's affordable and has green space on the doorstep, which counts for a lot if you have young kids.
