Totteridge is a residential area on the western slopes of Wycombe. Mostly post-war housing, a mix of council-built and private estates. Bowerdean is similar in character. It's unremarkable suburban territory, the sort of place that barely registers as a distinct neighbourhood even to locals. Functional, affordable for the area, and close to the M40 junction if you commute by car.
