North of the high street towards Stanstead Abbotts and the A414. This end of town has some larger family houses, particularly along the roads climbing west towards Hailey. There's a bit more of a settled, leafy suburban feel here compared to the south. You're slightly further from Broxbourne station, so many people drive to the station or use the bus. The Lea Valley path is accessible from the eastern side, and Dobbs Weir is a popular walking spot nearby.
