Horley West and Sidlow

West of the A23, this is a more spread-out area that takes in some genuinely rural stretches towards Sidlow and Irons Bottom. Sidlow itself is a tiny hamlet with a church, a pub, and farmland. The western part of Horley proper has 1960s and 70s housing estates with a more suburban feel. It is closer to the Gatwick noise zone but the Sidlow end opens out into proper countryside. If you want a rural Surrey address on a budget, Sidlow is one of the few places that delivers.
