RH1 5
Salfords sits between Horley and Redhill along the A23, with its own station on the Brighton Main Line. It is really a large village rather than a suburb, with a community feel centred around the village hall and a couple of local businesses. Housing is a mix of older cottages, 1930s semis, and some post-war council stock. The Salfords Industrial Estate provides local employment. It is quieter than Horley and slightly further from the Gatwick flight path, which makes a noticeable difference. People here tend to identify with Salfords rather than Horley.
