Westdene & Hove Park

Westdene is the northern edge of Hove, up against the bypass and the Downs. Housing is a mix of interwar semis and some newer builds. Hove Park itself is a proper family park with a cafe, playground, and miniature railway. It's quieter than central Hove and more suburban in character. You're further from the seafront here, which is the trade-off, but closer to the Downs for walks. Schools nearby draw families who are happy to sacrifice proximity to town for a bigger house and a garden.
