Brixton North

The area around Brixton station and Brixton Village. This is one of London's most culturally significant neighbourhoods. The covered market, the restaurants in Brixton Village, the O2 Academy, and the street art all draw people from across London. Housing is a mix of Victorian terraces, mansion blocks, and council estates. It's loud, diverse, and has been at the sharp end of London's gentrification debate for two decades. Prices have risen sharply but it's still more diverse than most of Zone 2.
