Ouse Valley & Ringmer

The flat land along the River Ouse south of Lewes, plus the village of Ringmer. Ringmer is a sizeable village with a green, a primary school, a pub, and a village college. It sits between Lewes and Uckfield and is popular with families who want village life with good access to both. The Ouse Valley area is prone to flooding, which limits development but gives it an open, rural character.
