Forest Hill

Forest Hill has long had a reputation as one of the better areas in Lewisham for families, and the presence of the Horniman Museum and its gardens is a genuine local asset. The High Street on Dartmouth Road has a decent selection of independent shops, cafes and pubs, and the area attracts young families who are priced out of neighbouring Dulwich and East Dulwich. Transport is a strong point with Forest Hill station providing Overground links to the Victoria line and the Overground network. The streets around the Horniman are particularly popular and the area generally feels leafy and established.
