St Johns

St Johns has become one of the most desirable residential areas in Lewisham borough, with a village atmosphere that has developed around the shops and cafes on St Johns Vale and the streets leading up from the hill. The area is known for its good schools and attractive streets of Victorian and Edwardian houses, many of which have been sympathetically restored by incoming residents. The transition up from Telegraph Hill gives the area an interesting topography and some lovely views across London. Transport is decent with St Johns station on the Overground network, and the proximity to Blackheath and the wider network is a real bonus.
