Wigmore is one of the more desirable residential suburbs in Luton, built up through the sixties and seventies with good-sized semis and a strong family demographic. There is a small local shopping area with some useful amenities, and the schools in the catchment are generally considered decent. It is quiet and convenient without being particularly distinctive, which is exactly what a lot of buyers are looking for.
