Riverside

Riverside covers the streets along the Thames between the town centre and Boulters Lock. Ray Mill Island and the Thames Path are the highlights. Some of the riverside properties are seriously expensive, but move a few streets back and it becomes more mixed with flats and smaller houses. The Guards Club Park is a lovely green space by the water. It benefits from being walkable to the station and the town centre while feeling slightly tucked away by the river. The flooding risk is real along some of the lower-lying streets, which is worth checking.
