St Mary's

St Mary's is the town centre ward, covering the high street, the station, and the streets immediately around them. This is where most of the regeneration is happening, with the Landings and other developments changing the look of the area. The high street has the usual chains plus some independents, and a Nicholsons Centre that is showing its age. The Elizabeth line has made the station much more useful. Housing is a mix of converted Victorian properties, purpose-built flats, and new apartment blocks. It is the most urban part of Maidenhead, with the noise and convenience that comes with that.
