Tovil

Tovil is technically a village that slipped into Maidstone's urban boundary but it still has that village feel, with its own church, a short stretch of village high street with a couple of decent pubs, and residential roads that feel genuinely separate from the town. It has more character than most of the surrounding Maidstone suburbs and attracts people who want that village dimension while still being close enough to the town centre. The river flows through the southern edge and there are walks along it that feel like a different world from the town.
