Salmestone is an inland residential area between Margate and Broadstairs, centred around Nash Road and the Salmestone area. A mix of interwar and post-war housing, some council stock. It's unremarkable suburban Thanet. There's a Tesco and a few takeaways but no real centre. Convenient enough for both Margate and Broadstairs without being in either. Hartsdown Park is accessible for green space.
