North Canning Town sits between the A13 and the main Jubilee line station. This is where the regeneration has been most visible, with new tower blocks and mixed-use developments replacing old estates. The Jubilee line gets you to Canary Wharf in two minutes and the West End in twenty, which is the big sell. The Hallsville Quarter redevelopment has brought new shops and a library. It still feels raw in places, with construction sites and empty plots alongside the new builds. Young professionals in rented flats are the main demographic in the new stuff.
