South of Plaistow station heading towards the A13 and Canning Town. More post-war estates and social housing than the northern side. The Canning Town regeneration is starting to bleed into this area but it has not arrived in full. The A13 creates a hard boundary and the area feels cut off from the river. It is one of the more affordable parts of the borough.
