Newport Pagnell South

This is the town centre and the older part of Newport Pagnell. The High Street has a decent run of independent shops, cafes, a Co-op, and a few pubs. It feels like a proper small town rather than a suburb. Housing is a mix of older cottages and terraces near the centre, with 1960s and 70s estates filling in around the edges. The iron bridge over the Ouse is a local landmark. You are close to the M1 at junction 14, which matters because this is very much a car-dependent area. Families and older residents set the tone here.
