New Bradwell was built in the 1850s to house workers from the Wolverton railway works, so it has that same grid of Victorian terraces you find in proper railway towns. It's compact and has a stronger sense of community than most MK estates. The Newport Road has a few local shops and a pub. The Grand Union Canal runs along the southern edge, which is good for walks. Housing is affordable by MK standards, mostly those original two-up-two-downs plus some later infill.
