Chiltern Ridge West

The western side of the Chiltern ridge above Princes Risborough, covering Bledlow, Saunderton, and Radnage. Even quieter and more rural than the eastern side. Saunderton has a station on the Chiltern line which is useful, though services are limited. The landscape is classic Chilterns, beechwood hangers, chalk grassland, and rolling farmland. Housing is mostly period properties and larger family homes. Bledlow has a well-regarded pub and a cricket ground that looks like it has not changed in fifty years. This is deep countryside living with the trade-off that you are a long way from anything resembling a town centre.
