Lodge

Lodge ward covers the southern part of Rayleigh, running down towards Eastwood and the Southend border. It is solid suburban territory with 1930s semis, some bungalows, and a few pockets of newer development. The area around Love Lane and Eastwood Road has a quiet, settled character. Rayleigh station is walkable from the northern end but it is a hike from the southern streets. The Weir is a nice local green space along the river. Families and retirees in roughly equal measure.
