Arlington

Arlington is a tiny parish in the Low Weald between Hailsham and Polegate. The reservoir is the main landmark and draws walkers and birdwatchers. There's not much of a village centre to speak of. Housing is scattered farms, period cottages, and the odd converted barn. You drive to Polegate or Hailsham for shops, schools, and the station. It's the sort of place you move to for the peace and because you found a specific house you fell in love with, not because of what's on the doorstep.
