These are small villages strung along the A25 at the foot of the North Downs. Brasted has a pretty village green and a handful of shops and pubs. Chevening is best known for the Prime Minister's country house, Chevening House, and is very small and very quiet. Sundridge sits between the two and has even less going on. Housing is a mix of period cottages and larger detached places, with some newer infill. You need a car for almost everything, though Sevenoaks station is a fairly short drive. It feels properly rural for somewhere this close to the M25.
