Bobbing, Iwade and Lower Halstow

Three distinct villages lumped together on the marshland fringe north of Sittingbourne. Iwade has grown enormously with new-build estates and barely resembles the small village it was twenty years ago. Bobbing is smaller and sits closer to the A249, with a mix of older properties and some newer housing. Lower Halstow is the quietest of the three, a genuine creek-side village with a sailing club and a good pub. You need a car for everything. The landscape is flat and open, looking out over the Swale marshes.
