South Bermondsey

The area around South Bermondsey station, which has a slightly forgotten feel. The station itself only has trains to London Bridge and is not on any tube line. Millwall FC's ground, The Den, is here. The residential streets are a mix of council estates and some Victorian terraces, particularly around Ilderton Road and the streets heading toward the Old Kent Road. It is industrial in places and not somewhere people tend to seek out, but the New Bermondsey regeneration scheme promises major change if it materialises.
