Cunningham is a residential ward to the south-east of the city centre, covering the area around Cunningham Avenue and Cell Barnes. Housing is a mix of post-war council-built stock and later private development. It's more affordable than the Edwardian streets closer to the centre, which is the main appeal. There's no real centre to it, and you head into town or to the retail parks for most things. Perfectly functional for families who want a St Albans address without paying a premium for a Victorian terrace.
