SS1 3 / SS3 8 / SS3 9
The inland, newer side of Shoebury. Mostly 1980s and 1990s housing estates, with some later infill development. It lacks the seaside character of Shoeburyness proper but is quieter and more suburban. There are local schools and a few neighbourhood shops but most people drive to do their main shopping. It is practical family housing at prices that are still reasonable by South Essex standards.
