Jersey Farm is a large 1970s/80s residential development on the north-eastern edge of St Albans. It was built as a self-contained community and still feels like one, with its own small shopping parade, community centre, and woodland walks. The houses are mostly standard developer stock of the era, three-bed semis and detached on cul-de-sacs. Sandridge village is nearby. Families move here because it's affordable by St Albans standards and the schools have a good reputation. It's not the prettiest part of St Albans but it works well for daily life and kids can cycle around safely.
