Stanford East

The eastern side of Stanford-le-Hope, stretching toward Corringham. This is where most of the post-war housing estates sit, with a fair amount of ex-council stock. It is a quiet residential area without much in the way of its own shops or amenities, so you walk into Stanford centre or drive to the retail parks along the A13. Closer to the station than Corringham, which counts for something if you commute.
