Almond Hill

One of Stevenage's later neighbourhoods, built in the 1970s on the eastern edge. Typical New Town housing, a mix of terraces and semis arranged around cul-de-sacs and green spaces. It has its own local shops and primary school. Quiet and residential, the sort of area where people stay for years because there's enough space for a family and the neighbours are settled.
