Sunbury Common is the southern half of Sunbury, stretching towards the A316 and Kempton Park. Housing is mostly post-war semis and some 1960s/70s estates, with pockets of newer builds near the reservoirs. It's more affordable than the Thames-side streets to the north. The Common itself is a useful green space but not especially scenic. The A316 and proximity to the M3 junction make it noisy in places but convenient if you drive. Daily shopping happens at small parades along Staines Road East. It's the sort of area where people settle for the space and the school catchments rather than the postcode.
