Beddington is split between the residential streets around Beddington Park and the industrial/retail zone along the Purley Way. The park itself is genuinely lovely, with the river Wandle running through and Carew Manor nearby. The residential bit is mostly 1930s semis and some newer infill. Hackbridge station is the nearest rail link. It's not a destination in its own right but the park access is a real plus if you live on the right streets.
