The northern part is closer to the town centre and Wallington station, which has Thameslink services to London Bridge and beyond. Housing is a mix of Victorian terraces near the centre and 1930s semis further out. Wallington Grammar and the other Sutton selective schools make this a popular family choice. It's not flashy but it's a well-functioning local centre with everything you need day to day.
