The financial district on the old West India Docks. Glass towers, chain restaurants in the underground malls, and apartment buildings aimed at city workers. It is a strange place to actually live because it was designed as an office district and still feels that way at weekends. The Jubilee line, DLR, and Elizabeth line make it one of the best-connected spots in east London. The flats are mostly new-build towers with concierges and gyms. There is almost no community in the traditional sense. People move here for convenience and move out when they want a neighbourhood that feels like one.
