E9 7
The streets south of Victoria Park, roughly between the park and Roman Road. This is one of the most desirable parts of Tower Hamlets. The park itself is magnificent and the houses overlooking it command serious prices. The residential streets are largely Victorian terraces, many beautifully done up, with a sprinkling of council estates. It has a strong family feel, with the park as the obvious draw for anyone with kids or a dog. The independent shops and cafes along Roman Road (west end) and around the park add to the community feel. It is the closest Tower Hamlets gets to a leafy inner-London village.
