Uckfield Ridgewood & Little Horsted

Ridgewood is the southern part of Uckfield, strung along the main road towards Lewes. It has its own village hall and a slightly separate identity from the rest of town. Little Horsted is a tiny hamlet further south, barely more than a church and a handful of houses. The area is closer to open countryside and feels less built-up than central Uckfield. Ridgewood Primary School is well regarded locally. The trade-off is that you are further from the station and the high street.
