CT7 9
The seafront side of Birchington, with Minnis Bay at the eastern end. The beach here is one of the better ones in Thanet, sandy and sheltered, popular with families in summer. Housing is a mix of older bungalows, some interwar semis, and a few larger Edwardian places closer to the coast. The village square is walkable from most of the area and has enough for basics. It feels more settled and residential than flashy. Older residents make up a good chunk of the population, and the pace reflects that.
