Walthamstow Village

Walthamstow Village is the part of Walthamstow that runs north from the Village toward Wood Street. This is where Walthamstow Village is, centred on Orford Road with its independent restaurants, pubs, and the Nag's Head. The Village has become a proper destination. Housing is Victorian, and the streets closest to the Village command a premium. Further out, it is more mixed but still pleasant, with Lloyd Park and the William Morris Gallery adding green space and culture. It is the part of Waltham Forest that Waltham Forest residents are smug about.
