Wandsworth Town

Wandsworth Town has changed a lot. The old Ram Brewery site has been redeveloped into a mixed-use scheme, and a lot of new flats have gone up along the river. The high street around Wandsworth Town station still has independent shops and pubs mixed in with the chains. The Young's brewery heritage gives it more identity than most south London high streets. Rail into Waterloo is quick. It is a blend of the old Wandsworth, which was fairly unremarkable, and the newer Wandsworth which is shinier and more expensive.
