W2 4
The northern end of Bayswater bleeds into Westbourne Grove and the fringes of Notting Hill. Westbourne Grove has a stronger independent shopping scene, with fashion boutiques, brunch spots, and galleries. The housing stock is similar white stucco terraces, but the streets feel a bit more settled than the Queensway strip. Notting Hill Gate tube is walkable. The Portobello Road market starts just to the west. It has more of a neighbourhood identity than the southern half, partly because the Notting Hill influence creeps in.
