Canalside

The streets around the Basingstoke Canal between the town centre and Brookwood. The canal towpath is a genuinely pleasant walking and cycling route. Housing is a mix of older terraces and some newer canal-side developments. You're close enough to the town centre and station to walk, which is the main draw. It feels a bit more interesting than the generic Surrey suburbia further out, though it's not a name most people would naturally use for this area.
