Mount Hermon is the residential area immediately south and west of Woking station. It's one of the most convenient spots in the borough if the commute is your priority, because you can walk to the platform in five minutes. Streets are a mix of Victorian and Edwardian terraces closer to the station and larger houses further out. The area around the top of the hill has some handsome period houses. There's not much in the way of local shops, but you're right next to the town centre. St Dunstan's Church is a local landmark.
