The name is the old parish term for the area outside the town boundary. In practice it covers the rural and semi-rural land around Wokingham, including places like Gardeners Green and Honey Hill. It's a mix of older houses on large plots, farms, and some newer infill. Very car-dependent, very quiet. The appeal is space and privacy within easy reach of Wokingham's facilities and station.
