Houghton Conquest

Houghton Conquest is a small village a couple of miles east of Ampthill along country lanes. It has a church, a village hall, and a pub but not much else in terms of amenities. The housing is a mix of older cottages and some newer infill. It is the sort of place where you need a car for everything and the nearest shop is in Ampthill or the new Wixams development. Quiet and rural, which is either the appeal or the drawback depending on what you are after.
