TW15 2 / TW15 3
Ashford Town is the bit around the station and the Church Road shopping parade. There's a small selection of shops, takeaways, and a couple of pubs, enough for daily needs but nothing destination-worthy. The station gives you a direct train to Waterloo in about 40 minutes. Housing is a mix of Victorian terraces near the old centre, interwar semis on the surrounding streets, and some newer flats close to the station. It's not glamorous but it works as a base. The Echelford Primary is well regarded locally.
