Staines South

South of the town centre, stretching toward Laleham Road and the reservoirs. Quieter and more residential than the centre, mostly 1930s semis and some post-war housing. Staines Reservoirs are nearby and popular with birdwatchers, though they are not exactly scenic. It is within walking distance of the station and the shops, which gives it a practical edge over some of the more isolated parts of Spelthorne. A solid, unremarkable residential area that does the job.
