Riverside and Laleham

Laleham is a proper village on the Thames with a church, a green, and older properties around the centre. It has a distinctly different feel from the rest of Spelthorne. The riverside walks are genuinely lovely and Laleham Park is popular with families in the summer. Housing is a mix of period cottages, 1930s houses, and some larger riverside properties that go for serious money. It is quiet, which people either love or find a bit too sleepy. The trade-off is that you are not really walking distance to a station, so a car helps.
