Three villages south of Banbury that each have their own identity. Bloxham is the biggest and best known, with a long main street of ironstone cottages, a well-regarded primary school, and a proper village pub scene. Adderbury has the green, the church, and a slightly quieter feel. Bodicote is closest to Banbury and has started to feel more like a suburb than a village, with newer estates filling the gaps. All three have good community spirit and that South Oxfordshire thing of being rural but still 10 minutes from a Sainsbury's.
