Barming

Barming has been absorbed into Maidstone's western sprawl. The original village core around the church and the Barming Heath area has some character, but most of the housing is post-war estates spreading out from the town. Barming Primary School serves the area. Maidstone town centre and the station are reachable by bus. It's practical and affordable, with no particular identity beyond being a suburb of Maidstone.
