MK40 4
Biddenham is a proper village that happens to sit right on the western edge of Bedford. There is a village green, a pond, a pub, a church, and a quiet feel that is genuinely different from the rest of the borough. The houses are a mix of older cottages around the centre and some larger detached homes on the edges. It has its own primary school and a strong community feel. The catch is that you pay a premium for the village postcard, and you really need a car despite being so close to town.
